The Owode project, developed under the Oasis residential concept, featured a bespoke dining set and china buffet designed using a blend of natural and industrial materials. The dining table was crafted from locally sourced driftwood (dogoyaro), paired with velvet-upholstered, structurally reinforced chairs set on sturdy steel legs to balance comfort with durability. The accompanying buffet unit was reimagined with functional detailing, including handcrafted drawer systems and open cabinet doors lined with raffia mat inserts to introduce texture, warmth, and cultural depth. The design celebrated material honesty while elevating everyday storage into a sculptural feature within the space.
The final installation achieved a cohesive balance between raw organic elements and refined contemporary finishes, becoming a standout feature within the home.
